CoVE South Africa provided the opportunity for college staff to enhance their project managements skills and collaborate with international professionals

The European Union Erasmus+ programme, Centres of Vocational Excellence in Climate Smart Agriculture in South Africa, provided the staff from West Coast, Lovedale and Boland TVET Colleges the opportunity to attend the Project Management Course of Maastricht School of Management.

This course was included in the project as project managers are expected to possess a well-rounded understanding of project design and management in today’s fast paced-environment. They must be adept at initiating, planning, implementing, monitoring, and closing projects effectively, while also being skilled in navigating the complex challenges of the private sector. This includes addressing evolving labour market demands and seizing opportunities that arise in an increasingly dynamic business landscape. In line with the EU's mobility objectives, these sessions also provided staff with the opportunity to interact and collaborate with EU professionals who were participating in the course as well.
